Jubilee character teaser: Aditi Rao Hydari's Sumitra Kumari exudes elegance and beauty

Jubilee starring Aditi Rao Hydari, Aparshakti Khurana and Prosenjit Chatterjee is the upcoming period drama series on Prime Video. Directed and created by Vikramaditya Motwane, it focuses on the real life behind all the glitz and glamour of Bollywood.

After releasing the character teaser of Aparshakti from the show, the makers have now dropped a new promo introducing Aditi's Sumitra Kumari. The latest video begins with a montage that sees the actress playing multiple roles on the camera as the 50s Bollywood mega-star.

The video also presents her as an elegant lady, while it further reveals that Aditi's character is full of wit, grudges and power-driven. She can be seen on a mission to go against her husband, a famous and successful producer, just to destroy one of her co-actors Madan Kumar. 

The makers dropped the latest character teaser with a special caption that reads, "Sumitra Kumari - the walking definition of elegance, and the most mesmerising superstar with immaculate business brains which held up the other half of ‘Roy Talkies’ (sic)."

The forthcoming series also stars Ram Kapoor, Sidhant Gupta and Wamiqa Gabbi in prominent roles.

Jubilee part 1 releases on April 7, while the second part of the Prime Video original series drops on April 14.
