Jr NTR wraps up Devara Part 1 shoot; pens a heartfelt note

Jr NTR is set to make a massive comeback to silver screens with Devara. The first installment of the Koratala Siva directorial, titled Devara Part 1, is gearing up for a grand theatrical release on September 27, 2024. Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor is making her Telugu cinema debut with the project. After a long wait, Jr NTR finally wrapped up the shooting of his portions in Devara Part 1. The Telugu superstar announced the same with a social media post, recently.

The Telugu superstar, who wrapped up the shooting of Devara Part 1, announced the same with a heartfelt on his social media handles. “Just wrapped my final shot for Devara Part 1. What a wonderful journey it has been. I will miss the ocean of love and the incredible team. Can’t wait for everyone to sail into the world crafted by Siva on the 27th of September,” wrote Jr NTR. Along with the post, the leading man also shared a location still with director Koratala Siva, on his official handles.

Devara Part 1 and 2: Here’s what we know

As reported earlier, Jr NTR is set to play the titular character Deva in the mass action film, which marks his reunion with director Siva. Janhvi Kapoor, on the other hand, appears as Deva’s lady love, Thankam. In a recent interview, the young actress revealed that she has limited screen time in Devara Part 1, compared to Part 2. The highly anticipated project features Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan as the lead antagonist, Bhaira.

Earlier, it was reported that Devara Part 2 will release exactly a year after the Part 1 hits the theatres. However, the grapevine now suggests that the sequel of Koratala Siva’s film will go on floors only after leading man Jr NTR completes the first schedule of his next outing with KGF director Prashanth Neel. In that case, Devara Part 2 will hit the theatres only by the end of 2025, or the beginning of 2026. However, these reports are not officially confirmed, yet.
