Jr NTR to join sets of War 2 only during this time, details inside

War 2 is one of the most awaited films and is all set to release on August 14, 2025. The film is also special as Jr NTR is teaming up with Hrithik Roshan for the first time in his career. Ayan Mukherjee will direct this film which will be made on a massive budget.

A few weeks back, we at OTTplay reported that Jr NTR will join the sets of the film in the last week of December 2023. Well, things have changed a bit and the news suggests that NTR will join the shoot of War 2 only after the Sankranthi festival in January 2024.

As he has his dates packed for Devara, the shoot of War 2 was moved ahead a bit. The word is that NTR will wrap up a key schedule of Devara on the 26th of December, 2023, and will take a break for a week.

Then, he will ring in the new year, celebrate Sankranthi, and then, join the sets of War 2 in Europe. The pre-production of the film is happening at a brisk pace and we have come to know that NTR will shoot for War 2 even before starting his film with Prashanth Neel of KGF fame. 

War 2 will be the first-ever Hindi film for Jr NTR after Devera's Pan-India release. Initially, Jr NTR was not keen to join the film but as Ayan Mukherjee was directing the film, he gave his nod to the film. 

Moreover, yet another reason for saying yes is that he has been big bucks to be a part of this film which is being produced by Yash Raj Films on a massive scale. Watch this space for more updates.
