Dune became a massive success both critically and commercially around the world, and fans are now eagerly waiting for its second and final part. Josh Brolin, whose fate is still unknown, has opened up about his return in the second part of Dune. 

Talking to Collider, the actor said “I am a part of Dune Part Two”. The actor said that he is a part of the second movie to a “ridiculous extent” that when somebody told him that he was not mentioned on IMDb, he called his publicist and asked her to put his name back on the online database. The actor added that he did it because it is a proud moment for him. 

Brolin, who played the weapons master of House Atreides, said that the second part of Dune is more action oriented and that he is already training for reprising his role. 

Brolin plays Gurney Halleck, the weapons master of House Atreides and a mentor to Paul Atreides (Timothee Chalamet) in Dune. The character was last seen rushing a legion of invading Harkonnen soldiers, following which his fate was not known. 

Based on Frank Herbert’s novel, Dune was one of the biggest movies of last year, Directed by Denis Villeneuve, the movie grossed over $400 million worldwide and won six Oscars including Best Original Score and Best Cinematography.

The movie also stars Timothée Chalamet, Oscar Isaac, Stellan Skarsgård, Dave Bautista, Zendaya, David Dastmalchian, Chang Chen, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, Charlotte Rampling, Jason Momoa, and Javier Bardem. 

Dune, which received glowing praises from critics and fans, is available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
