Mitin Mashi is coming as someone vocal about preserving nature and wildlife in her new film. During this Durga Puja, Koel Mallick will arrive to protect the wildlife and the forest as the famous sleuth. She will resist the ‘asuras’ who are often seen as poachers. The scaffoldings of pandals are ready at different localities and the roads are covered with Puja commercials. There is a shopping spree in the marketplaces on the weekends. In such an atmosphere, Arindam Sil spread the charm of Puja by sharing the teaser of his new Mitin Mashi film.
Mitin Mashi is a female detective, created by noted author Suchitra Bhattacharya. Her original name is Praggaparamita Mukhopadhyay. Arindam Sil brought her first on the big screen during the 2019 Durga Puja. Koel Mallik, as Mitin Mashi, beat her opponents with karate and other martial arts. Jangale Mitin Mashi is the second film in the venture. Subhrajit Dutta, Asim Roychoudhury, Hiya, Samiul Alam, and Arijit Dutta will play different roles in the film. Koel, in this film, walked through a dangerous path to catch the poachers, rode the mountains, and handled gunfights. She wore sarees and jeans with the same ease. The director wrote a limerick under the teaser which increased its charm.
On August 12, World Elephants Day, Koel Mallik went to the Alipore Zoo and fed cakes to the elephants. She opened the poster of the film on that day and did the promo by visiting the zoo. She was accompanied by the Wildlife Minister Jyotipriya Mallik, Arindam Sil, and Subhrajit.

The audience will see Prosenjit Chatterjee, Dev, Koel, Abir Chatterjee, Mimi Chakraborty, and many others on the screen. Arindam Sil opined that grave messages can be easily conveyed through a film, and people watch films during Puja. Mitin Mashi is coming to convey the message of saving wildlife.
