Jolly O Gymkhana lyric video: Vijay, Pooja Hegde sizzle in this peppy song by Anirudh from Beast

After endless requests from Vijay fans, Sun Pictures, which has bankrolled Beast came up with an announcement recently, leaving them excited. The announcement of the second single from the film, Jolly O Gymkhana, brought cheer to them when they were slightly disappointed with lack of updates on its release date.

Earlier today, the team released a hilarious making video of the song which featured Redin Kingsley and VTV Ganesh among others. Director Nelson Dilipkumar and dance choreographer Jani, too, was seen in the video which went viral in no time. The promo video of the song had broke the record set by its first single, Arabic Kuthu, in terms of YouTube views for 24 hours.

The slow-paced, but trippy song has Vijay and Pooja Hegde impress with their chemistry and flawless dance moves once again, leaving fans into a tizzy. Anirudh's composition stands out, and Vijay, who has lent voice for the song, surprises with his singing skill again.

The vibrant outfits of the actors in the video, stunning cinematography and simple lyrics by Ku Karthik are other impressive elements in the song.

The song, which was supposed to release at 6 pm, did not drop at the stipulated time, leaving fans disheartened. A few minutes later, the makers released the song on Spotify. Though a few fans of the star and Anirudh expressed happiness over the song, many were disappointed over the team's idea of not releasing it on YouTube first.

Manoj Paramahamsa has handled cinematography for the movie which has editing by R Nirmal, Selvaraghavan, Yogi Babu, Shine Tom Chacko, John Vijay and Aparna Das play pivotal roles in the film which is expected to release in multiple languages.
