The Korean adaptation of the global smash hit La Casa de Papel, Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area, has been announced by Netflix. With the thrilling announcement, a unique teaser was unveiled, bringing new enthusiasm and sneak peeks at the final esthetics.
Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area follows a brilliant strategist and his gifted band of top-notch thieves as they attempt an unparalleled heist on the Korean Peninsula. As the crew stages a hostage while experiencing unexplainable hurdles, the plot takes surprising twists and turns. Everyone's attention is drawn to the history and definition of the term "joint economic area."
The Professor, played by Yoo Ji-tae, is shown in front of a wall covered in various masks, including traditional Korean masks and the renowned Salvador Dali mask from the original Spanish series. The scene shifts as he reaches out to select the heist's symbolic mask, exposing the Professor's ultimate choice to the audience. In addition, alongside Seon Woojin (the Crisis Negotiation team leader played by Kim Yunjin), the attractive visuals of each of the eight heist members are introduced, along with their city-name aliases: Berlin (Park Hae-soo); Tokyo (Jun Jong-seo); Moscow (Lee Won-jong); Denver (Kim Ji-hun); Nairobi (Jang Yoon-ju); Rio (Lee Hyun-woo); Helsinki (Kim Lee Kyu-ho).
