John Wick 5: Keanu Reeves offers an upsetting update about the future - Here's what he said

The world has been eagerly waiting for the release of John Wick Chapter 5, one of the most anticipated movies in recent times. It is one of those rare films that has managed to create buzz even though the makers have not yet confirmed anything about it. Everything is a rumor, yet it has managed to keep the audience curious. Ever since we saw Chapter 4, everyone wants to know where the story will go as it enters Chapter 5. A month ago, filmmaker Chad Stahelski, responsible for the franchise, said it would be a tricky route and that there needs to be a concrete take to tell. However, Keanu Reeves had previously spoken of the possibility in sarcasm. But today, in a new comment, he has given an upsetting update, and you are not prepared for it. 

Keanu Reeves On John Wick Chapter 5

Keanu Reeves entered this world of assassins as John Wick in 2014 and became the fan-favorite Baba Yaga in no time. For months, fans have been eager to know what is happening on the John Wick Chapter 5 front, but there have been no concrete updates. The actor has now spoken about whether he wants to do another John Wick movie or not.

In his latest comment, Keanu Reeves said his knees are telling him he cannot do another John Wick film right now, replicating his previous comments about the movie. As per Screen Rant, the actor said, “My heart does. But my knees are saying right now, ‘You can't do another John Wick.’”

Previously, when talking about the same subject months ago, the actor had said that while his knees might be giving up, his heart isn't. Discussing the possibility of John Wick Chapter 5, Keanu Reeves said, "You can never say never, but my knees right now are saying, ‘You can't do another John Wick.’ So, my heart does, but I don't know if my knees can do it." However, Keanu will next be seen in a brief appearance as John Wick in Ballerina, which releases in June 2025.
