JioMami Film Festival 2023: From Priyanka Chopra to Sonam Kapoor, Tejasswi Prakash and other celebs who stole the spotlight on the first day!

All the eyes were on the ongoing JioMami Film Festival 2023. This year’s Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival is definitely special in ways more than one. This time round, the festival’s line up has over 250 films that are spread over 10 days, starting from October 27 till November 5. The curation of this year’s festival includes forty World Premieres, forty-five Asia Premieres, and more than seventy South Asia Premieres. This year saw more than thousand submissions for the South Asia programme.

The event saw many celebrities arriving in style and how! To begin with, it was our very own Priyanka Chopra Jonas who was nothing less than spectacularly stunning in her stunning white gown that was complimented with golden stripes! Not to forget the matching cape that served as an icing on the cake! Priyanka Chopra took to social media and posted a bunch of her photographs with the caption “Opening night Jio Mami Mumbai Film Festival @mumbaifilmfestival”. In no time, her husband Nick Jonas replied ‘Damn’ with two fire emojis!

Then, there was the ‘Miss Fashionista’ Sonam Kapoor, whose fashion sense, at the event, was as always – on point! Sonam Kapoor simply dazzled all the camera lenses as they captured her in a beautiful jet-black outfit which was doubled up by a pearl necklace! Sonam too, took to social media and posted a bunch of her photographs with the caption, “In @tamararalph Couture tonight for the opening ceremony of @mumbaifilmfestival Styled with @abhilashatd Beauty @namratasoni Pictures @thehouseofpixels”.

Also in attendance at the ongoing JioMami Film Festival 2023 was the sensational Tejasswi Prakash, who seemed to have stolen the night’s thunder all- black bodycon dress. One also spotted the Bigg Boss OTT 2 contestant Jiya Shankar, Jiya Shankar who was seen in a one-shoulder gown with her curly hair let open! There was also Nikki Tamboli who looked stunning in a green attire! The actress posted a video of hers in the green dress with the caption, “Not as moody as I look”.

Amidst all of them, there was also the simple and sober Bhumika Chawla (the very lady who was paired opposite Salman Khan in Tere Naam). She looked extremely elegant and poised in the Indian dress that she had chosen to wear for the occasion.

There were also the prolific film maker Mani Ratnam and his wife Suhasini Ratnam and also the eternal superstar Kamal Haasan. One could also spot the veteran actress Shabana Azmi who was seen posing for the cameras with actor Jim Sarbh. Also in attendance were Rajkummar Rao and his wife Patralekha.
