Looks like actor-director Sundar C is back with what he is best known for. He is all set to team up with Jiiva and Jai for the second time after Kalakalappu 2 (streaming on MX Player and Jio Cinema), the comic caper which released in 2018. The yet-to-be-titled movie has Srikanth, too, playing one of the lead roles.

Malvika Sharma, Amritha and Aishwarya Dutta will be seen playing female leads in the movie, which is billed as a full-on entertainer. A picture which has the actors posing for a photo together along with Sundar C has been doing the rounds on social media ever since the announcement was made. However, Malvika and Amritha weren't spotted with others.

Yuvan Shankar Raja has been roped in to score music for the project which is expected to go on floors soon. Sundar C's previous outing was Arya, Rashi Khanna-starrer Aranmanai 3 (streaming on Zee5) which released in theatres a few months ago.

The director is currently busy with a few projects as an actor, including Thalai Nagaram 2 and Pattampoochi. Interestingly, the latter has Jai playing the antagonist for the first time in his career. Jai has Siva Shivaa up for release; the movie also has music composed by him.

Jiiva and Srikanth are teaming up after Shankar's Nanban (streaming on Disney+ Hotstar) for this movie. The former, who was last seen in Bollywood flick 83, has Varalaru Mukkiyam and Golmaal in his kitty.

The latter was last seen in Mirugaa (streaming on Zee5), and has a dozen of movies in his kitty which are under different stages of production. More details on the Sundar C directorial are expected to be officially announced soon. The movie, which went on floors in Chennai today, is expected to be completed in one schedule.
