The much-awaited album of Mari Selvaraj's Maamannan started unveiling one by one a few days ago with the first single Raasa Kannu. The makers have now released second single Jigu Jigu Rail which has lyrics penned by Yuga Bharathi. AR Rahman has composed music and lent voice for the song.

Contrary to the first single, this track is a peppy song which spreads positivity and the need to embrace constant changes and happiness in life. Apart from the maestro's composition which grows on you in repeated listening, what stands out is his presence along with a few children which makes the lyric video a pleasant one.

Rahman is also seen making an attempt in dancing; it's a treat for his fans to watch him make slow, interesting moves which are in sync with the pace of the song. The team has announced that the audio and trailer launch of Maamannan will be held on June 1 in Chennai.

Fans are now awaiting other songs from the film which is billed as a political drama. Udhayanidhi Stalin, Vadivelu, Fahadh Fasil and Keerthy Suresh play key roles in the project which has cinematography by Theni Eswar and production design by Kumar Gangappan.

Dhilip Subbarayan and Sandy have helmed action choreography and dance sequences respectively while Selva RK has handled editing. Bankrolled by Udhayanidhi himself under Red Giant Movies, this is the last film of the producer-turned-actor-turned-politician.

Netflix bagged the movie's digital rights a few months ago. The makers are yet to announce its theatrical release date, though. It is expected that the team will make a decision on June 1, at the event.
