It turns out we've figured out where Jigra will stream once its theatrical run concludes. Read on to know all the details.

Jigra on OTT

The world of Jigra has managed to captivate the audience from the very beginning. Over the past few days, the makers have been teasing something big, preparing us for the big reveal with the teaser trailer. Now that the teaser has been released on YouTube and social media, we've closely observed and decoded where the movie will stream once it completes its theatrical run.

According to the poster and the teaser trailer released online, Jigra will land on Netflix. Yes, you read that right. The streaming giant has already acquired the streaming rights for the movie. This will be the fourth Alia Bhatt project to land on the platform in recent times, following Darlings, Gangubai Kathiawadi, and Heart of Stone.

About Jigra Teaser Trailer

Directed by Vasan Bala and written by Vasan Bala and Debashish Irengbam, Jigra introduces us to the action-packed side of Alia Bhatt. The teaser trailer presents a woman standing on a ticking bomb, claiming that her brother has very little time. While we aren't explicitly told he needs to be rescued, a voice (Manoj Pahwa) suddenly says, "Let's blast the prison walls," indicating that the brother is imprisoned far from home.

Jigra is packed with intensity, and the filmmakers made a creative decision to keep the trailer mostly silent. The opening creates a void that is filled by Alia narrating how she lost her parents, how she and her brother were raised, and what these hardships are leading to.

Jigra hits the big screen on October 11, 2024. Stay tuned to OTTplay for more information on this and everything else from the world of streaming and films.
