Jigra: Alia Bhatt gives peek into her role through the lens of director Vasan Bala

Alia Bhatt was last seen in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani and garnered a lot of appreciation for the portrayal of her character, Rani. The actress recently made headlines for receiving a National Award for her film Gangubai Kathiawadi, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The actress is currently busy with her next venture, Jigra, which is directed by Vasan Bala. A while back, Alia released photos that the filmmaker had taken, giving fans a glimpse of her character in the movie.

Alia Bhatt posted two pictures on Instagram that provide a glimpse into her next movie, Jigra. She informed her fans that director Vasan Bala was the one who took the photos when she shared them. With the caption, she wrote, "directors lens @vasanbala #JIGRA."

'Jigra' is the first collaboration between Alia Bhatt and director Vasan Bala. As she started filming the movie in October, she shared her very first pictures on social media. “& we’re rolling .. day one of bringing our jigra to life.. stay tuned as we bring to you a piece of our hearts.. fingers and toes crossed for the journey aheaddddddd .. love TEAM JIGRA (sic).” was the caption she posted with the pictures.
