Following Priyanka Chopra Jonas' alleged exit from Farhan Akhtar's ambitious film Jee Le Zaraa, rumours are swirling that Katrina Kaif has also withdrawn from the project. A recent rumour that circulated all day today was that the actress has decided not to participate in the film. The Farhan Akhtar-directed movie is slated to be the first all-girls road trip movie ever made. The movie was slated to begin production this year when it was first announced in 2021. But there have been numerous delays with the movie.

There were also rumours that Anushka Sharma and Kiara Advani are apparently being considered to replace Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Katrina Kaif in the movie, according to a Filmfare article.

However, according to a source close to the project, Katrina is still in the movie. “Katrina Kaif is doing the film and one is tired of clarifying on the same. There is only a slight delay in the mounting of the film," a source told ETimes. It is still unclear if Priyanka will do the movie or not.

According to a Bollywood Hungama report, the movie had to be put on hold because the stars couldn't agree on dates. “Priyanka Chopra was not able to commit the dates to shoot in 2023 due to her Hollywood commitments and asked Farhan if they could shoot for Jee Le Zaraa in 2024. While Farhan was fine with it, Alia Bhatt is already committed to shooting for Ramayana and Baiju Bawra in 2024. Given that the two films are going to be taxing, she couldn’t align her date for next year. When nothing fell in place, Farhan decided to delay the film until the right time," the source claimed.
