Jawan trailer: Top 5 moments of the Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi's action-packed film

Finally! The much-awaited trailer of Jawan, featuring Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, and Vijay Sethupathi in titular roles, has dropped. This high-octane action drama promises to be the entertainer of the year.

Here are the top five moments of the trailer you shouldn’t give a miss.

1. Alia Bhatt’s reference by Shah Rukh Khan

At the beginning of the trailer, Shah Rukh Khan – in his villainous avatar – breaks through security panels, shatters the glass protection of the metro, and enters the compartment of the transport. Locals in the city, as expected, feel scared to be present in the close vicinity of Shah Rukh Khan.

Seconds after SRK enters the compartment, he receives a call from security officials asking him what he wants. Replying to this, the Badshah of Bollywood funnily says, ‘I want Alia Bhatt’.

2. Shah Rukh Khan tries to win Deepika Padukone’s love but loses

Deepika Padukone’s cameo appearance in the film is winning hearts on the internet. In one of the scenes, Deepika says to SRK ‘Haar jaoge’. To this, Shah Rukh Khan as ‘Jawan’ says ‘Haar toh main pehle hee gaya tha’. This scene truly depicts that Shah Rukh Khan is head over heels in love with Deepika’s fierce avatar.

3. Shah Rukh Khan as a Hero and as a Villian

Many social media users are of the opinion that Shah Rukh Khan will be playing a dual role in the film. This is because in a few scenes, SRK dons shades of his negative character, while in the others he appears to be as the saviour of this planet. 4. Nayanthara tries to bluff Shah Rukh Khan

With the aim of knowing about the hidden agenda of Shah Rukh Khan as Jawan, Nayanthara – who plays the role of a dutiful cop in the film – tries to gather information for the safety of her country. She goes to all lengths and breadth to know about Jawan’s motives.

5. Vijay Sethupathi as Kalee

Vijay Sethupathi, a popular Tamil actor in South cinema, is seen as an antagonist in the film. His character is named Kalee – who is shown as the fourth largest weapon dealer in the world. His dashing looks and charming personality, is loved by many on the internet.

Directed by Atlee, Jawan is slated to hit the theatres on September 7.
