The more you watch the trailer, the more you can try theorising what Jawan is all about. The trailer is packed with surprises and twists from each and every character, with Shah Rukh Khan ruling every frame. And how is he doing it? By donning different looks that are poles apart from each other. However, we tried our hand at guessing what the plot of Jawan could be.
Jawan plot:
Going by the trailer, the film seems to be an intimate account of one man's (Shah Rukh Khan's) quest to right social wrongs and make good on a promise he made long ago while satisfying a burning personal grudge. The high-octane action thriller shows him facing up against a terrifying monster of a criminal (Vijay Sethupathi), who has no fear and has inflicted untold misery on many.
Along the way, he'll meet a seasoned female officer (Nayanthara) with a high moral ground who, in the heat of combat, may let her emotions get the best of her. He will need all his strength and wits to overcome the obstacles and restore peace to their world as his history catches up with him. And for that, he assembles an army of women who know how to blaze guns and be as fearless as their chief!
With his squad of six ladies, ex-commando Vikram pulls off heists all around India and hijacks a Mumbai Metro. In the meantime, he also finds out that his long-lost son is a police officer and is the target of Kalee (Sethupathi), a global weapons dealer. Thus, he plans to kill off the villain and force the government to do as he wishes.

Atlee, who has directed the film, has penned the screenplay with S. Ramanagirivasan, while the dialogues are by Sumit Arora.

The film also features Deepika Padukone in a special appearance and Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Grover, Yogi Babu, Riddhi Dogra, Eijaz Khan, Astha Agarwal, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Amritha Aiyer, Kenny Basumatary, Girija Oak, and Lehar Khan in pivotal roles.
Jawan is slated to release on July 7, 2023.
