Jawan gets a thundering response in cinemas
It seems SRK is anxious to know how this movie will be received by the audiences in Tamil Nadu as they have historically shown a tendency to hesitate to embrace Hindi movies. Even though SRK has a significant fan following, the last movie that did extremely well at the Tamil Nadu box office was Chennai Express. The 2013 movie resonated with Tamil audiences owing to its Tamil connection and references to Superstar Rajinikanth.
Similarly, Jawan is expected to become a big hit in Tamil Nadu owing to the overwhelming presence of Tamil talents in its cast and crew. Jawan also received a warm welcome from leading members of Tamil cinema on the eve of its release. Filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj was one of the celebrities who shared his best wishes to SRK.

"Wishing the absolute best to @iamsrk sir, my dear brothers @Atlee_dir , @anirudhofficial , #Nayanthara, @VijaySethuOffl na and the entire cast and crew of #Jawan to be a blockbuster," tweeted Lokesh, who is now busy with the post-production work of Jawan.
