Making her debut with Nitesh Tiwari’s 2016 film Dangal, alongside Aamir Khan, Sanya grabbed the audience’s attention and went on to do interesting projects such as Vishal Bhardwaj’s Pataakha, Anurag Basu’s Ludo, Umesh Bist’s Pagglait, and many more.
The actress has reached a new milestone in her career by starring alongside Shah Rukh Khan in his latest release, Jawan. And she celebrated this milestone by posting a throwback video of herself, doing the famous SRK pose.
Throwback video
Sanya posted this throwback video from her Dangal shooting days, in which she is seen doing the SRK pose in the middle of a stadium. The actress sports casual athleisure attire in the video and has with a short haircut, which was the look for her character in Dangal. The Mitwa song from Shah Rukh’s 2006 drama Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna plays in the background.
The actress captioned the post, “Itni shiddat se maine ye manifest kiya hai, ki har zarre ne ye fulfil karne ki saazish ki hai. Kehte hain ki agar kisi cheez ko dil se chaho toh puri kainaat usse tumse milane ki koshish mein lag jaati hai.”
Sanya is one of the ladies in Shah Rukh’s gang in Jawan and is seen effortless doing action sequences on screen. She is accompanied by Priyamani as Lakshmi and Lehar Khan as Kalki in the gang.
Success of Jawan
Jawan is directed by Atlee and produced by Red Chilles Entertainment. This is the first collaboration of Shah Rukh and Atlee. The music for the film is composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
Shah Rukh’s second release of the year, Jawan is expected to break the box office record set by Pathaan earlier in this year. People have been thronging cinema halls, throwing gulal and confetti in the air while chanting, “Bharat ki shan Shah Rukh Khan.”
Sanya, on the other hand, was last seen earlier this year in Yashowardhan Mishra’s satirical comedy drama film, Kathal.
