For the last three days, Jawan has been trending on the internet for various reasons. While some are appreciating Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and Nayanthara’s stellar performance in it, a few others have sparked a meme fest on Ridhi Dogra’s role in it.

Breaking the silence on the developments, actress Ridhi Dogra has reacted to the memes that surfaced online. For the uninitiated, 38-year-old Ridhi Dogra features as 57-year-old Shah Rukh Khan's adoptive mother ‘Kaveri Amma’ in Jawan. Given the age difference between the two stars, the internet was quick to react to it.

One Twitter user wrote, “When SRK called you Kaveri Amma in Jawan in that scene, I literally bawled in the theater.”

Replying to this comment on the microblogging site, Ridhi Dogra expressed, "And I cried in my heart”. She even attached a laughing emoticon with it signaling that she is enjoying the meme fest going on in various social media circles.

Another Twitter user commented, “Aishwarya’s character is no more. Kaveri is Azad’s mom anyway. Vikram should marry you in Jawan 2.” Notably, in Jawan, Aishwarya’s role is played by Deepika and SRK features in dual roles – one being named ‘Azad’ and the other being ‘Vikram’.

Replying to this post on Twitter, Ridhi funnily expressed, “Haha haha haha”

On Instagram yesterday, the Lakadbaggha actress expressed her gratitude towards the cast and crew of the film. “THIS FILM IS A BLOCKBUSTER! This is what I said every time I was on the sets of Jawan. You all are celebrating the film as a festival which makes me want to celebrate too with this long post. #towhomsoeveritmayconcern. I am grateful beyond words for everyone acknowledging my bit in the film. It gives courage to an artist to keep taking risks and I thank you for that deeply,” she said.

Directed by Atlee, Jawan hit the theatres on September 7 worldwide. It has minted over Rs 250 crores globally within just three days of its theatrical release.
