Jawan prevue: Fans spot Atlee's tribute to Thalapathy Vijay in Shah Rukh Khan starrer

The teaser of Jawan, released on Monday, has taken social media platforms by storm, captivating fans with its well-edited and thrilling visuals. Director Atlee's year-long efforts have paid off, leaving fans overjoyed with the glimpse of what the film has in store for them. The teaser showcases Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan in a new dimension, embracing the dark side of his character without hesitation.

While the teaser continues to receive widespread appreciation, observant fans were quick to spot what they believe to be Atlee's tribute to Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay. In a specific scene, Deepika Padukone is seen clapping her hands after defeating a rival in a wrestling match, reminiscent of Vijay's mannerisms in the film Mersal. Towards the end of the teaser, SRK himself replicates the same mannerism, further convincing fans of Atlee's admiration for Vijay and his inclusion of the tribute.

Vijay has played a significant role in Atlee's successful career. After assisting director Shankar, Atlee made his directorial debut with the tragic romantic comedy Raja Rani in 2013. Since then, he has collaborated with Vijay in three subsequent blockbusters: Theri, Mersal, and Bigil. These films solidified Atlee's position as a formidable force at the box office. 

Although Jawan marks Atlee's first collaboration with another lead actor in the past seven years, it seems he has found a way to subtly incorporate Vijay into his films, even in his absence. Rumors are circulating that Vijay might make a cameo appearance in Jawan, but no official confirmation has been made yet.

Jawan also stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in key roles. The movie is set to arrive in cinemas on September 7.
