'Jawan is super hit': Ridhi Dogra on working with Shah Rukh Khan, Vijay Sethupathi

Actress Ridhi Dogra is thrilled to be a part of the much-awaited movie Jawan alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Vijay Sethupathi. In an interview with Connect FM Canada, she expressed her excitement about the film and how she knew it was going to be a "super hit" from the moment she set foot on the sets.

"I always used to tell Atlee that this film is a super hit. It was a super hit on set based on the way the production was going on. You will get to know that based on how the team is perceiving the film and reacting to it. The energy was very high and positive on the sets. It's looking fabulous, and I can't say more about Jawan. Then I will have to deal with Atlee. The experience was fabulous," she said.

Ridhi Dogra also shared her experience of working with Shah Rukh Khan and Vijay Sethupathi. She described it as a "historic moment" to see the "two powerhouses standing together and interacting with each other with such respect and kindness."

"This film is a very large scale, and there are many firsts. It was amazing to see Shah Rukh and Vijay Sethupathi standing together and talking to each other, in between the scenes. And the way they were working. Shah Rukh Khan is a global star and Vijay Sethupathi was such an incredible powerhouse performer," she said.

Ridhi also mentioned that the film was made with a lot of conviction at many, many levels.

Jawan is one of the highly-anticipated movies of 2023. This film also marks filmmaker Atlee's debut in the Hindi film industry. The movie has caught the imagination of movie buffs since the filmmakers released a teaser for the title announcement. The promo video revealed a high-octane action drama with Shah Rukh Khan sporting a never-seen-before avatar. 

Vijay Sethupathi will be seen as the main antagonist. Jawan has been making headlines owing to all the leaks. Earlier, the producers managed to get an order from the Delhi High Court to further prevent the circulation of all the leaked pictures and videos from the movie . 

The movie also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra and Priyamani in the lead roles.

Jawan is expected to arrive in cinemas on June 2.
