Jawan: Is Ridhi Dogra playing Shah Rukh Khan's mother in the Atlee film? Here's what we know

The Jawan pre-release event is something to remember for days to come, not just by the team but even by genuine fans of Shah Rukh Khan. The event ended with a bang with a speech by the superstar, in which he thanked each and every artist who was a part of the film. During his speech, SRK even shared some interesting facts regarding his co-stars, especially Ridhi Dogra. Yes, he revealed that she plays the role of his mother in Jawan. Contrary to many reports making the rounds that Deepika Padukone is playing that role, SRK confirmed it's Ridhi who will be seen as his onscreen mother.

Shah Rukh Khan on Ridhi Dogra:

While talking about Ridhi, SRK said in his speech, "Ridhi is unfortunately playing my mother, but in the next film, we will work something out age-wise."

Ridhi shares a sweet selfie with SRK:

Ridhi took to her Instagram page and shared a selfie with the superstar, captioning it, "You sweat, work bloody hard, but are always smiling, gentle, and patient. And never say no to a selfie. Praising all his female co-stars:

Shah Rukh also praised the rest of his female co-stars by saying, "All these ladies and girls have been so wonderful, waiting on the sets for me to do prosthetics and all the looks. I genuinely want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart. God bless you all!"

Cast of Jawan:

Along with Shah Rukh, Jawan also features Nayanthara as the female lead and Vijay Sethupathi as the villain. The film also has an ensemble cast, which includes Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Grover, Yogi Babu, Astha Agarwal, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Amritha Aiyer, Kenny Basumatary, Girija Oak, and Lehar Khan.
