Jawan cast salary revealed: Here's how much Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi got paid for the Atlee actioner

After a long absence, Shah Rukh Khan has returned to the big screens with Pathaan and gave us a blockbuster. Now the superstar is all set to once again spread his charm with his much-awaited film, Jawan. This time, the actor collaborated with the South director Atlee to deliver a massy entertainer. The film also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi and Deepika Padukone in a cameo besides a lot of other actors in crucial roles. 

While we are all enjoying Jawan's trailer and its outstanding advance bookings, let's take a look at the cast's salaries!

Shah Rukh Khan

If reports are to be believed, Rs. 100 Crores being paid to the superstar. But that's not all; in the movie Jawan, he also receives a staggering 60% of the movie's revenue (it is to be noted that SRK's Red Chillies Entertainment is the producer of the film). Shah Rukh Khan is the highest-paid actor in the industry because his presence on the big screen guarantees an outstanding spectacle.

Nayanthara

One of the most sought-after South Indian actresses, Nayanthara, who plays the movie's female protagonist, will make her Bollywood debut with Atlee's film. According to the report, the diva will receive Rs 11 crore.

Vijay Sethupathi

Vijay Sethupathi and his brillian performnces always make headlines whenever we see him on screen. If reports are true, he requested a huge fee of Rs. 21 crores for his character. 

Deepika Padukone

Although Deepika only have a cameo appearance in the film, it is said that the talented actress took home the salary somewhere in between 15-30 crores. 

Priyamani

One of the well-known South Indian actresses, Priyamani, shot to stardom in Bollywood with the Chennai Express song "One Two Three Four, Get On The Dance Floor," which she interestingly performed with SRK. She reportedly received Rs 2 crore in compensation for the movie Jawan.

Sanya Malhotra:

Sanya Malhotra, a rising star from the younger generation took home the salary of Rs. 1 Crore for her role. 

Jawan is slated to released in cinemas on 7th September, 2023.
