Shah Rukh Khan’s fans, rejoice! By the end of Saturday, Jawan minted ₹439 crores in India. With this historic feat, the action film has created new benchmarks in Indian cinema. Last evening, Red Chillies Entertainment confirmed that the movie has earned over Rs 735.02 crores on a worldwide scale, which added another feather to the hat to the movie.
As per industry tracker Sacnilk, Jawan has made a business of ₹31 crore on its second Saturday.

What makes Jawan so special?
Since its release on September 7, Jawan has ruled both the domestic and international box office. On its ninth day, Jawan surpassed the Rs 700 crore gross mark globally. Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, and Vijay Sethupathi play the three primary leads, in the Atlee directorial. The first week's total earnings in India grossed up to Rs 468.9 crore.
The film has also beaten the previous records of Pathaan on its way to becoming the quickest Bollywood Film to make it to the Rs. 700 crore club worldwide.
Jawan has secured the third highest-grossing position among all Hindi releases this year. The leading position is occupied by Shah Rukh’s Pathaan, which amassed Rs 543.05 crore on the box office following its release in January. The second spot is claimed by Gadar 2 starring Sunny Deol, which has garnered Rs 517.06 crore thus far and is still running in cinemas.
In a press conference held recently in Mumbai for the media and a few handpicked fans, Shah Rukh Khan hailed Jawan, calling it an “emotion” and a film that “represents all “Indians”.
Interestingly, Sanjay Dutt and Deepika Padukone have made special appearances in Jawan making it worth a watch. Sanya Malhotra, Ridhi Dogra, and Sunil Grover play supporting roles in the movie.
