Years after their collaboration and falling apart, Salim-Javed came together for their docuseries, Angry Young Men. One of the presenters for the same happens to be Salim's son, Salman Khan. Akhtar gave one-and-all a pleasant surprise at the trailer launch by talking about the superstar's childhood. At the same time, he tagged one of Salman's brothers as a regular seducer.

Salman Khan was handsome since birth

Javed Akhtar recalled meeting Salman Khan when he was just a year old, in 1965. "It is not surprising that he is such a handsome man as he has been beautiful since his childhood. He was an exceptionally good-looking child," he mentioned.

Javed Akhtar further compared the dashing Salman of today to the incredibly shy baby he was back in the day. The writer said that Salman would not talk much.

Who was the regular seducer?

While talking about Salman, Akhtar also pointed out who was Salim Khan's naughty kid among the brothers. "The one who was naughty was this one," Akhtar said, pointing at Arbaaz Khan. He called Arbaaz a 'regular seducer,' thus leaving everyone around in splits. The writer praised Arbaaz as someone who had the skills to impress anyone and everyone, along with being well-groomed. "He would comb his hair neatly even as a six-year-old," Akhtar revealed.

Directed by Namrata Rao, Angry Young Men is a docuseries which talks of Salim-Javed partnering into the blockbuster duo. It talks of their passion to change people’s perspective on whether writers can achieve success or not. The show also shows us the falling apart of the duo after delivering blockbusters back-to-back for a whole decade.

Angry Young Men is backed by Salman Khan Films and Tiger Baby Films (Javed Akhtar’s daughter Zoya Akhtar’s production house) and will release in three parts. The first will be out on Prime Video from August 20.
