Reasons to watch Jatt Nuu Chudail Takri on Chaupal

Stellar cast

Gippy Grewal and Sargun Mehta score a hat-trick as they appear in the third film together. Previously, they shared screens in Ardaas Karaan and Chandigarh Amritsar Chandigarh. The stellar duo will captivate viewers alongside the ensemble supporting cast, including Roopi Gill, Nirmal Rishi, and BN Sharma.

Light-hearted movie

The makers of Saunkan Saunkne and Kala Shah Kala are back to create another fun movie that is packed with a comedy of terrors and errors. Helmed by Vikas Vashisht, Jatt Nuu Chudail Takri is a light-hearted film that brings some nuanced characters with a brazenly silly script to keep you hooked on the screens.

Highlights social issues

Horror-comedy

The plot of this horror comedy film revolves around Jallaludin (Gippy Grewal), who thinks low of all women and labels them as evil or ‘chudail’. When he goes on a trip with his married friends, he persuades them to divorce their wives, but his life takes a surprising turn when he falls in love with a mysterious girl named Rani (Sargun Mehta) and marries her. Things take a dreary twist when he starts experiencing strange events and believes Rani is a ghost or the eponymous chudail. How the male protagonist fights Rani or gets defeated forms the crux of this Punjabi movie.
