We had earlier reported that actor Vijay's son, Jason Sanjay, will be making his directorial debut and prestigious production banner Lyca Productions will be bankrolling the project. While not much have been officially revealed about the project since then, speculation is rife that children of two other stalwarts will also be associated with the project.

Actors Dhruv Vikram and Aditi Shankar, son and daughter of Vikram and director Shankar respectively, are rumoured to be part of Jason Sanjay's debut directorial.

Dhruv and Aditi for Jason Sanjay’s debut?

Actor Vijay's elder child, Jason Sanjay, will not be taking his father route but will be entering the film industry by wielding a megaphone. Jason, who will be marking his directorial debut for Lyca Productions, is currently working on the film. However, not much have been said about the project by the makers.

As per reports, Dhruv Vikram, son of actor Vikram and Aditi Shankar, daughter of director Shankar, will be coming onboard for the project. It will be interesting to note how the new generation of star kids will be coming up. However, an official announcement on the casting has not yet been made. Lyca Productions is still to give an official update on the cast and technical crew of the yet-to-be titled project. AR Rahman’s son, AR Ameen is expected to score the music.

It is to be noted that Jason has graduated from Toronto Film School with a diploma in film production and he has also completed a BA (Hons) in screenwriting in London.

What’s in for Dhruv and Aditi?

Dhruv Vikram was last seen alongside his father in Mahaan. The actor is also expected to pair up with Mari Selvaraj for a sports-based film based on former Tamil Nadu Kabaddi player Manathi Ganesan. Darshana Rajendran is speculated to play the female lead.

On the other hand, Aditi was last seen in the Sivakarthikeyan-starrer Maaveeran, which released last year to positive reception. The actor has upcoming film with director M Rajesh, co-starring Atharvaa. The film is billed to be an out-and-out entertainer.
