Janhvi Kapoor REVEALS details about the breakup with her first 'serious' boyfriend

In a very short span of time, actress Janhvi Kapoor has managed to carve a niche of her own. After having made her debut with Karan Johar’s ‘Dhadak’, this young lady has quite literally become the heartbeat of her fans! Not the one to sound politically correct, Janhvi Kapoor has always been an interviewer’s delight, as she speaks her heart out.

Speaking of Janhvi Kapoor speaking her heart out during interviews, a recent interview with Kusha Kapila on Jio Cinema’s ‘Swipe Ride’, the ‘Dhadak’ actress spoke about (read ‘revealed) about her first serious boyfriend. In the said interview, Janhvi Kapoor said that, after her parents disapproved of the boy, her relationship ended after that. She revealed that her first ever serious boyfriend was the ‘chup-chup ke mileng jhooth bol bol ke' (lets meet secretly by telling lies). She said that unfortunately that relationship ended because she had to lie so much and that her parents (mom and dad) were very conservative and were of the opinion that she cannot have boyfriends.

She also added that, she realised at that time that having the parents’ approval and having transparency with them makes everything so easy. She also added that, it made a person you feel so much more confident about their decisions. She also went onto confess that Bollywood had immensely influenced her expectations on love and that there was a lot of fun in staring out of the window and to watch the rain drops fall.

On the film front, Janhvi Kapoor was last seen in Prime Video’s ‘Bawaal’, which was directed by the prolific film maker Nitesh Tiwari. The film saw Varun Dhawan as the leading man. Janhvi Kapoor will now be seen with Rajkummar Rao in the most eagerly awaited film ‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’. While the film is being directed by Sharan Sharma, it has been scheduled to release on March 15 next year.
