One of the most divisive films of the year is Bawaal. Some viewers have praised the film's performances by Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor, while others have condemned the director, Nitesh Tiwari, for making inappropriate comparisons between the Holocaust and marital problems.

During an interaction with Mid Day, Janhvi acknowledges the audience's worries but maintains that she must pursue her own artistic goals. One's work will suffer if they give too much consideration to what others on social media may say about it. They must take care of the community. They hope to come out as modest and not insensitive, and as creative people, they can't afford to be ineffective. Artists have extraordinary powers of intuition. The medium of film is all about the individuality of the director, the writer, and the actor in their interpretation of the story.

She added that the only way to find out what people think is to share it with the world.

In Bawaal, Ajay Dixit (Varun Dhawan), a regular high school history teacher, has become a local celebrity because of the reputation he has carefully cultivated. His marriage to Nisha (Janhvi Kapoor) has been rocky from the start. Due to unforeseen circumstances, he and his wife had to take a vacation to Europe to follow the World War II Trail. Will he and his wife be able to make it through this vacation together? Will he be able to defeat his own demons?

The film is currently streaming on Prime Video.

Meanwhile, Ulajh and the Telugu movie Devara are up next for the actor. From now on, she will work on one thing at a time. Janhvi added that she would rather focus on one film at a time. One has an actor's gluttony for responsibility. However, when telling a story, it's crucial to commit fully.
