Prithviraj Sukumaran’s upcoming project, titled "Jana Gana Mana," is a movie the Malayali audience has been waiting for. The project’s makers have now announced a release date for the movie.
The actor took to Instagram to share the exciting news with his fans. Sharing a poster for the movie, he wrote, “In matters of conscience, the law of the majority has no place.” --Mahatma Gandhi. #JanaGanaMana In theatres worldwide from April 28, 2022!"
The poster features Sukumaran and Suraj Venjaramoodu on opposite sides, with intensity in their eyes. While Sukumaran is sporting a ragged beard with some grey hairs, Venjaramoodu has a clean moustache.
Helmed by Dijo Jose Anthony and penned by Sharis Mohammed, the movie is bankrolled by Supriya Menon and Listin Stephen.
Jana Gana Mana also stars Sri Divya, Dhruvan, Shari, Shammi Thilakan, Raja Krishnamoorthy, Pasupathi, Azhagam Perumal, Ilavarasu, Vinod Sagar, Vincy Aloshious, and Vijayakumar, among others.
With the much-awaited release date, fans will see the reunion of Prithviraj Sukumaran and Suraj Venjaramoodu after their blockbuster film Driving License, directed by Jean-Paul Lal and written by the late Sachy.
Prithviraj has two interesting movies in the pipeline, including Kaduva and Aadujeevitham. The actor also revealed earlier this month that he would take a break for Aadujeevitham.
The actor was last seen in his own directorial, Bro Daddy, co-starring Mohanlal. The family entertainer is available to stream on Disney+ Hotstar.
Venjaramoodu was last seen in Kaanekkaane, co-starring Tovino Thomas, available to stream on SonyLIV, and Bheemante Vazhi, starring Kunchako Boban.
The makers released a promo for the movie back in January last year. The video caught the attention of the fans and has over four million views on YouTube.
