No Time To Die is a milestone movie in the James Bond franchise, being the 25th movie following the super spy. 2022 also marks the 60th anniversary of 007 and MGM along with producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli have some special things planned.
As reported by Deadline, a documentary titled The Sound of 007, will be a documentary from Apple TV+ that will take a walk through the iconic music from the franchise.
This will be the second documentary about the franchise, after James Bond: The Daniel Craig Story from earlier this year, following the actor's final appearance as the MI6 agent.
With MGM and Eon Productions producing, the documentary is set to be released in October 2022, with October 5 marking 60 years since the release of Dr. No starring the late Sean Connery, the first Bond film.
Over the years, the music has always been a strong point in most James Bond movies, regardless of how the rest of the movie does. With composers like John Barry, David Arnold, Thomas Newman, and Hans Zimmer having worked on various Bond movies, the music always elevates the cinema and brings a feel of nostalgia to the listener.
From the music that accompanies the iconic gun barrel opening scene to the music tracks for the movie by artists such as Shirley Bassey, Paul McCartney, and Adele, the music has always been an important part of these movies and an area of focus of fans for years.
The documentary will be an emotional look into the iconic music of the James Bond franchise, from Dr. No to No Time To Die.
