The Sherni actor, Vidya Balan is back with another thriller, Jalsa. The actor who is known for her versatile performances is making headlines about her latest offering. The film Jalsa is nearing its release and the fans have their hopes and expectations high as it unites the actor with another great talent and National Award-winning actor, Shefali Shah. 

The trailer of the film was released recently and it has only amped up the excitement of the audience, who cannot wait to see Vidya in a different avatar. The actor took to social media to share some stills from the upcoming movie and it is sure to take your breath away. The pictures show her looks from the film. She is seen in a wine-coloured dress, wearing dark red lipstick, while in the other close-up shot, she looks anguished. Sharing the images, she urged fans to watch the film. She wrote in her caption, "Can’t wait for you guys to watch this nail-biting thrilling drama #JalsaOnPrime, streaming 18th March on @primevideoin."

The actor had spoken about her character in the film during the trailer launch event. She said it is something that she has not played before. "She is very withdrawn, very confident but you don't know what's going on in her mind. I love exploring different facets of human personality and human behaviour,” she had said. 

The film is directed by Suresh Triveni and releases on Amazon Prime Video on March 18.
