Rajinikanth is currently in the Himalayas on a spiritual sojourn after a gap of four years

A day ahead of the much-awaited film Jailer, Superstar Rajinikanth headed to the Himalayas. The actor stated that was visiting the Himalayas after a four-year hiatus and that he was quite excited about the same. When quizzed about Jailer, the actor had then refused to speak on the movie and had asked the audience to watch the film and let him know.
Meanwhile, a video of the Superstar speaking at the Dayananda Swami Ashram in Rishikesh has now surfaced on the internet. In the video clip, Rajinkanth is seen addressing a bunch of boys and also opening up about Jailer. "Jailer is releasing with a lot of expectations. When I reached the Dayananda Swami Ashram, I took the blessings of Swamiji and Jailer was the last thing on my mind. But Swamiji said, "Don't worry, Jailer will become a hit. If Swamiji says that, Jailer is a hit."
A number of pictures of the actor have been surfacing on social media from time to time where he is seen worshipping his spiritual guru. A picture of Rajinikanth posing for a picture with the members of the ashram are now doing the rounds on the internet.
Meanwhile, Jailer directed by Nelson Dilipkumar has set the box office on fire. The film, which is said to be a true-blue action-packed extravaganza for Rajinikanth fans, has emerged as a massive hit at the box office.
When Shiva Rajkumar, who makes his debut in Tamil with the film, watched it in Mysore yesterday, he was swarmed by his fans who showered him with their love. The film also stars Ramya Krishnan, Mohanlal, Jackie Shroff, Sunil, Tamanaah, Yogi Babu, Vasanth Ravi, Vinayakan to name a few.
While the music for the film is by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography is by Vijay Kartik Kannan and editing by Nirmal R. Jailer is bankrolled by Sun Pictures.
