The much-awaited first single from Superstar Rajinikanth's Jailer, Kaavaala, is here. The peppy number is sung by Shilpa Rao and Anirudh Ravichander, and has lyrics by Arunraja Kamaraj. Tamanaah kicks up a storm as she does some heavy-duty hook steps in the number.

Dressed in a sizzling green attire comprising a halter top, the actress is seen swaying to the beats amid some ancient artefacts in a jungle backdrop. Her hair is all permed and her sensuous look is now doing the rounds on social media. The song has been choreographed by Jani.

It was not long ago that Tamanaah had shared a BTS picture from the song and had captioned it, "The calm before the storm." Music for Jailer is by Anirudh Ravichander marking his third collaboration with the Superstar after Petta and Darbar. Interestingly, this is the first time that Tamanaah is featured in a Rajinikanth film.

Jailer has an ensemble cast which comprises Rajnikanth, Mohanlal, Jackie Shroff, Shiva Rajkumar, Sunil, Ramya Krishnan, Vinayakan, Mirna Menon, Tamannah, Vasanth Ravi, Naga Babu, Yogi Babu, Jaffer Sadiq, Kishore, Billy Muralee, Sugunthan, Karate Karthi, Mithun, Arshad, Marimuthu, Rithvik, Saravanan, Aranthaangi Nisha, Mahanadi Shankar and others to name a few.

While the cinematography is by Vijay Kartik Kannan, editing is by R Nirmal. While art direction is handled by Drk Kiran, stunt choreography is by Stun Silva.

This is the maiden collaboration between Rajinikanth and Nelson Dilipkumar, who had earlier made films like Kolamavu Kokila, Doctor and Beast. While Rajinikanth was last seen in Siruthai Siva's Annaaththe, which failed to set the cash registers ringing, Nelson Dilipkumar's Beast, too, failed to set the box office on fire. Hence, all eyes are on the upcoming film, Jailer, which is slated to hit screens on August 10 this year. Jailer is bankrolled by Sun Pictures.
