Jailer: Bigg Boss winner Akhil Marar shares a WhatsApp message by Mohanlal; find out what it is here

All that cinephiles can talk about these days is Rajinikanth's latest film, Jailer, which is directed by Nelson. 

The film, which is running to full houses across the country, sees Malayalam superstar Mohanlal and Kannada star Shivarajkumar in cameo appearances. This has only added to the excitement and appeal of the film. 

Mohanlal's character and performance in the film have been positively received. Everyone has been praising the actor's performance, and one among them is Malayalam Bigg Boss winner Akhil Marar. After watching Jailer, Akhil messaged Mohanlal, who is the host of Bigg Boss. Thrilled with receiving a reply from the veteran actor, Akhil shared a screenshot of it on his social media page.

When Akhil messaged Lalettan about the overwhelmingly positive response that his character has been receiving, Mohanlal replied with "Pranamam" (sic).

Sharing a screenshot of the message, Akhil wrote on Facebook, "To me, getting to converse with Mohanlal is more precious than winning Big Boss Malayalam. While in the Bigg Boss house, I got a chance to make Mohanlal a pudding with my own hands, which is something that will always be special for me. I am delighted that I got a chance to share the positive feedback he has received for his role in Jailer with him."

Akhil has managed to secure a massive fan following even after the recent season of Bigg Boss ended.

He made his directorial debut with the film Oru Thathvika Avalokanam, which starred Joju George. The political satire was criticised for its propagandist character. 

Akhil is known for being vocal about social and political issues during television debates. His upcoming project, Omana, stars Joju and is co-written by Akhil and Shiju, another Big Boss contestant and actor. 

According to Akhil, Omana is about real-life characters from his native village and aims to explore the humorous side of Joju.

Meanwhile, Jailer is enjoying a successful run in theatres. The movie is a complete entertainer with all the necessary elements to please mass audiences. 

In addition to Mohanlal, the film also stars Malayalam actor Vinayakan in a pivotal role.
