For the unversed, Sangeeth is originally an editor by profession and has been a part of a few recent Malayalam films. The multi-faceted talent is now handling the editing of Jai Ganesh, the upcoming Unni Mukundan starrer. Interestingly, the Premalu actor’s editing skills have highly impressed the director of the project, Ranjith Sankar.

Recently, Jai Ganesh director Ranjith Sankar took to his official social media handles and shared a special picture from the editing suite. The filmmaker, who is highly impressed with the editing skills of actor-editor Sangeeth Prathap’s skills, also penned a special note, praising the multi-faceted talent. Interestingly, he also dropped a major update on the Jai Ganesh trailer in the post, which is now winning the internet.
“Trailer is loading... Can't wait to show u all. @sangeeth.prathap is a surprise as he still wants to be an editor more than an actor... Super hardworking guy. His inputs as an editor has been major into the end product @jaiganeshmovie has turned out,” reads the renowned filmmaker’s post. The actor-editor, who is moved by the Jai Ganesh director’s words, thanked him by dropped black heart emojis and a heart-eyed emoji, on the latter’s Instagram post.
Jai Ganesh trailer to release soon
The recent social media post of Ranjith Sankar, it is also confirmed that the much-awaited Jai Ganesh trailer is currently in the final stages of its making. From the filmmaker’s post, it is evident that he is highly excited about the much-awaited Unni Mukundan starrer, which is touted to be a mystery thriller film. The makers are expected to officially announce the Jai Ganesh trailer release date with an update, very soon.
Along with Unni Mukundan, the movie features a stellar star including Mahima Nambiar, Jomol, Ravindra Vijay, Ashokan, Hareesh Peradi, Nandhu, Srikanth K Vijayan, and others in pivotal roles. Sankar Sharma has composed the songs and original score. Chandru Selvaraj is the director of photography. Jai Ganesh, which is bankrolled by Unni Mukundan Films and Dreams N Beyond, is slated to hit the theatres on April 11, 2024.
