Actor Jagadish discussed his part in Prithviraj Sukumaran's upcoming movie Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil in an interview with OTTplay. “In this film, I portray Prithviraj's father. Even this character differs from what I have been doing lately. I had a great time playing this role; it has enough comedic elements," he remarked.
The shooting is currently progressing in Ernakulam. “I would not be able to watch Prithviraj’s Salaar: Part 1- Ceasefire and my latest film Neru in theatres on the opening day as I will be travelling to Kochi for the shoot. I love watching films on the first day of their release,” he said.

The actor went on to say that he still enjoys portraying humorous roles similar to those in which he has acted in the past. “I would still play one if any young filmmaker offered me a role that would also suit my age. I loved playing Chandran in Falimy,” he added.
Jagadish played a prominent role in Jeethu Joseph’s Neru. The courtroom drama, which was released in theatres on December 21, features Mohanlal, Priyamani, Anaswara Rajan, and Sidhique in lead roles.
During a press conference promoting the film, the actor mentioned that he had played an emotionally burdened father in Neru.
