Koffee With Karan 7 continued the show’s popular tradition of having the stars spill the beans when they graced Karan Johar’s couch. During a recent episode of the show, Anil Kapoor had become candid about some of his insecurities during the initial days of his career. On being questioned by host Karan Johar, Kapoor had revealed that he did feel insecure about Shroff’s ‘huge’ success at one point. The latter recently reacted to Kapoor’s comments about him.
In conversation with Times Now, Shroff referred to Kapoor as his ‘younger brother’. The actor said that as such it was normal for a younger brother to look up to the elder one and say something like that. Shroff said that he knew that Kapoor really cared for him deep down, and added “What he says is such a beautiful emotional display which not many people say it”.
The actor went on to praise Kapoor, saying that it was a lot of credit to him that someone of Kapoor’s calibre said what he said. Shroff also said that Kapoor’s heart was ‘absolutely clean’, and that he spoke from his heart.
The latest episode of Koffee With Karan 7 saw the couch graced by Kapoor and Varun Dhawan.
