After the massive success of Gadar 2, Sunny Deol has a couple of interesting films lined up including Gopichand Malineni's Jaat. Last year, the makers made an official announcement of the movie and released its teaser. Months after Jaat's teaser was released, the makers have reportedly roped in four action directors for it. The Sunny Deol-starrer intends to be one of his biggest action films. The buzz is that Deol will fight six villains in the Malineni directorial.
According to Mid-Day, Anal Arasu, Ram-Lakshman, Naga Venkat Naga, and Peter Hein have been roped in to lead the action team. The sets have been designed by Avinash Kolla. The first set-piece involves a car chase sequence by Peter Hein. The other action block features a hand-to-combat that takes place inside a police station and ends using the fan as a weapon. It has been choreographed by Naga Venkat.
"Both the set-pieces were shot in Hyderabad last year. Another fight sequence aboard a ship was designed by Ram-Lakshman, and filmed at the Panambur port in Mangalore last month. Sunny also shot an ambitious action piece set in Agumbe forest in Mangalore last November. It will be one of the major highlights of the film," a source told the tabloid.
The filming of Jaat is almost complete and Sunny will soon begin the last leg of the shoot in Mangalore. The Gopichand Malineni will feature Sunny as a mighty hero who rises against the corrupt system.
The filmmaker has apparently roped in six actors as villains for Jaat. The list includes: Randeep Hooda, Vineet Kumar Singh, Ajay Ghosh, Dayanand Shetty, Jagpathi Babu, and Babloo Prithiveeraj. He intends to make the film bigger than Gadar 2 in terms of action.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Sunny Deol will also be seen in Border 2 with Varun Dhawan and Diljit Dosanjh. Deol also has Lahore 1947 and Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana Part 1 and 2 lined up.
