Kareena Kapoor Khan’s fans, rejoice! The 42-year-old actress is back with a bang. The Bollywood biggie, who was last seen in 2022’s theatrical Laal Singh Chaddha, is all set to headline the Netflix movie ‘Jaane Jaan’ - the trailer of which dropped today.

At the trailer launch event, the Angrezi Medium (2020) actress shared why she felt intimidated by Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat on the set of her upcoming movie. She said, “They (Jaideep and Vijay) were always so prepared. Anyways... I had gone with the thought that Saif (Ali Khan; Kareena’s husband) had already told me. He (Saif) had told me to wipe away the attitude wherein I commonly say ‘set pe aake dialogue bol’ to my co-actors. He told me they are supremely talented and have the ability to improvise the dialogues. He told me ‘You better be on your toes’. I replied to him that I will be like a student in the school. To this, Saif said to me ‘Stop being a backbencher in the school, aage aakar kuch karo’. So, I was constantly watching them how they work.”
Kareena goes on to add, “Jaideep was always very prepared and composed at work. Vijay is a bit like me, he is laughing and having fun on the set, but (during work) his every scene is different from one another. He is a thoughtful person. Being in that environment on the set, I was also always on my toes. I also feel an actor should always be threatened by other actors on set, otherwise it’s (the product) going to be not fruitful. It’s nice to have a certain level of alertness around.”
Hearing these comments from Kareena, Vijay Varma funnily replies, “I just want to thank Saif Ali Khan. Agar who nahi hote, toh hume hamari value nahi pata hoti.”
