Jaane Jaan promo: Jaideep Ahlawat as Naren is the man of secrets and logic; Watch

Jaane Jaan, which marks Kareena Kapoor Khan's OTT debut, is one of the most anticipated crime thriller dramas. After an intriguing teaser of the film, the makers dropped a promo video unveiling more about Khan's role on Tuesday. Meanwhile, a new character teaser is released that features Jaideep Ahlawat as Naren. The Sujoy Ghosh directorial also stars Vijay Varma in a pivotal role.

The latest promo video sees events happening around Ahlawat's Naren, who is a school teacher. In multiple sequences, he can be seen as highly intimidated by Maya, played by Khan. On the other hand, Varma sees taking too much interest in his old friend's life. Meanwhile, apart from Maya, Naren seems quite secretive himself and likes to throw logic into each conversation in the film.

Plot of Jaane Jaan

Directed by Sujoy Ghosh, the adaptation of a Japanese novel called The Devotion of Suspect X by Keigo Higashino revolves around a single mother who tries to cover a murder to protect her teenage daughter.

Release date and OTT platform

Written by the director himself along with Raj Vasant the forthcoming flick is bankrolled by Jay Shewakramani, Akshai Puri, Hyunwoo Thomas Kim, Shobha Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor under the banners of Balaji Motion Pictures, 12th Street Entertainment, Kross Pictures, Boundscript and Northern Lights Films. Jaane Jaan, which also features Saurabh Sachdeva, Karma Takapa, Naisha Khanna and Lin Laishram in key roles, is all set to release on Netflix on September 21, 2023.
