Jaan Kumar Sanu reveals the reason why he considers mother to be his father as well

Maybe a few years ago, if someone had uttered the name ‘Jaan Kumar Sanu’, it may or may not have rang a bell. But, after his stint with the controversial yet popular reality show ‘Bigg Boss’, Jaan Kumar Sanu nt just became a known name, but also a familiar face. He has never minced words when it came to appreciating his fellow contestants during his stint in the reality show ‘Bigg Boss’. Jaan Kumar Sanu has always spoken high about the late actor Siddharth Shukla and Eijaaz Khan for inspiring him to look fit. By his own admission, he had told a leading newspaper that, he had lost 22 kgs since the time he first entered the Bigg Boss 14 house.

The latest update about this ‘fitter and finer’ Jaan Kumar Sanu is that, he is now wall set to storm into everyone’s minds with his latest just released single ‘Sutta’ with the National Award winning music composer Arko Pravo Mukherjee. In an interview with E-Times, Jaan Kumar Sanu spoke about his single ‘Sutta’. He said that the response to the single has been overwhelming and beyond his expectations. He added that he was glad that they did something different from what he usually does and that it has been accepted well by music listeners. He also said that this attempt was pretty daring for him, because he mostly sticks to the romantic and classical stuff and that he wanted to experiment and expand his variety as an artiste.

And when Jaan Kumar Sanu was asked about not having his father Kumar Sanu around him since childhood, he said that he never knew about his dad and that he got to know about him at later on in life. He added that, for him, his mother was both his mother and his father during my growing up years. He also spoke about not getting a chance to experience that phase of life where he could share certain things with his mother and also certain things with his father. Looking back in time, Jaan said that his father had got separated from his mother when he was 6 months old. In the same breath, he also added that, it was really daunting when he got to really know who he was and what he did.

When Jaan Kumar Sanu was asked if his father Kumar Sanu helped him in any way to get work in the industry, pat came the reply from Jaan as he said that if he (Kumar Sanu) would have, then, he would have been one of the biggest names in the industry by now. He also added that, there are no complains and no demands from his side and that he has his faith in God and that he loosk forward to what plans He (God) had for him.

And when Jaan Kumar Sanu was asked about his favourite genre in music, he replied that romance and love songs were his favourite genre and that’s why he sings it with so much of emotion. Besides that, he added that, he also loves Sufi and Classical music and that he had been learning classical since he was 3 years of age.
