The trailer for Urvashi and Attakathi Dinesh’s upcoming film J Baby is all set to be released tomorrow (February 28). The makers took to their social media handles to share this exciting announcement, while also sharing a poster of the film that shows a heartwarming picture of Dinesh and Lollu Sabha Maran. The film, which is set to be released in theatres on March 8 to coincide with International Women’s Day, has actress Urvashi playing the titular character of J Baby.

J Baby is an out-and-out family drama
Directed by debutant Suresh Mari, the family dramedy revolves around the emotional and entertaining relationship shared by Urvashi and Dinesh, who play a mother and son. Besides the lead cast, the film also stars Lollu Sabha Maran, who was last seen in Santhanam's Vadakkupatti Ramasamy. J Baby is expected to have humour, emotions and drama as its key elements.
Urvashi speaks about choosing age-appropriate characters
In a recent interview, Urvashi opened up about her recent choice of roles in films. She revealed that, as actors age, they should be aware of the kinds of characters that suit them. “At times, we will be able to identify what works best for us. On those days, since the directors are experienced filmmakers, I didn't have to think twice about the character they had written for me. However, now that we work with several young directors, I need to make a wise choice about the role that works best for me, even if it looks appropriate to the filmmaker,” the actress revealed.
Urvashi also added that she was happy when she got to know that the makers had zeroed in on Women's Day to release the film.
Speaking about her character, she revealed that J Baby cannot be judged quickly, and that she looks forward to seeing the audience's reaction to the film.
