The makers of Iyer in Arabia released the trailer of the film on January 26. It hints at a good family entertainer that explores Sreenivasa Iyer’s life in Dubai with his family. M A Nishad has directed this film.
Mukesh is Sreenivasa Iyer in the film, while Urvashi plays Jhansi Rani, Sreenivasa Iyer's wife and a history professor. Rahul, their son, is portrayed by Dhyan Sreenivasan. It also provides an insight into the protagonist's traits, like his traditional way of thinking and old-school parenting style.
The trailer also calls the film a ‘sarcastic family treat’, which is slated to fully explore Mukesh and Urvashi's timely humour and chemistry. The focus of the family entertainer is Sreenivasa Iyer, who voluntarily left a government position.
After their son gets a job in Dubai, he and his wife decide to move there, which is an unexpected but hilarious turn in his life. The movie primarily focuses on Iyer's observations, what he learned from his time in this new city, and how they helped him change his conventional perspective.

This will be a fun family drama with touching moments and impromptu humour, the director said in an interview with OTTplay. Additionally, he had mentioned that Iyer in Arabia contains a lot of humorous components that mock the outdated mindset that persists to this day.
Shine Tom Chacko, Durga Krishna, Maniyanpillai Raju, Jaffer Idukki, Sudheer Karamana, Sunil Sukhada, Alencier, and Biju Sopanam are also playing prominent roles in the film, giving it the right amount of humour.
Siddarth Ramaswamy and Vivek Menon are the cinematographers of Iyer in Arabia. Johnkutty has helmed the editing work. Vignesh Vijayakumar has bankrolled the film under the banner of Wealth i Productions.
