It's official: Arya, Sundar C's horror film Aranmanai 3 to stream on Zee5 from November 12

The horror-comedy flick Aranmanai 3, directed by Sundar C, was one of the much-awaited films to have released in Tamil after the second wave. The film, which was distributed by Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies, hit the screens on October 14 as a Dussehra release. 

Being the third instalment in the popular Aranmanai franchise, Kollywood had pinned high hopes on the movie, which had Arya and Raashi Khanna in lead roles. Andrea, Vivekh, Yogi Babu, Manobala, Sampath and Sakshi Agarwal among others were also seen essaying notable roles in the film, which opened to mixed response.

As speculated earlier, the movie is geared up for a release on Zee5 on November 12. Aranmanai 3 is the first Tamil film to have announced a release on Zee5 in the month of November. The movie had garnered enough hype before its release because of one more reason; it was the last project of legendary comedian Vivekh. In a press meet held a few days before the film's release, Sundar C recollected working with Vivekh and got emotional while talking about him.

UK Senthil Kumar, a regular in Sundar's films, have handled the cinematography for the movie, which has music composed by C Sathya. The first two installments in the franchise, Aranmanai and Aranmanai 2, released in 2014 and 2016 respectively. Aranmanai is available on MX Player while Aranmanai 2 is streaming on MX Player, Sun NXT and Jio Cinema.

The movie's satellite rights have been acquired by Kalaignar TV, and it is expected that the makers will come up with an announcement date on the television premiere soon.
