The makers, today, formally announced that the shoot of the thriller was completed recently. Rishabh Basu, Subhash, Anand Bharti play other important roles in the film.
The thriller was shot across scenic locations in Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam and Goa for over 45 days. Sai Dhanshika is cast as an IPS officer in the film who’s after a psychopath. The makers are confident that the actress would make a mark among Telugu audiences with her measured yet fiery performance and assure she’s got a powerful role.
Balaji scores the music for the film which has cinematography Narsingh. In the latest stills released from Dakshina, Dhanshika is seen sporting a white shirt paired with black denims and is lighting a cigarette with the help of a colleague. The actress, in most of her media appearances, has claimed that she’s yet to get a role that could tap into her fullest potential as a performer. Will Dakshina be that ‘film’?
