It’s a WRAP for Heartstopper season 3, fans cheer up for season 4 now!

It’s an official wrap for Netflix’s popular boy romance series. The streaming platform today announced on social media about the season 3 shoot wrap with it’s lead stars, Kit Connor and Joe Locke. Fans are thrilled to unveil Charlie and Nick’s love story.

It’s fantabulous news for Heartstopper fans as the makers on Friday announced that the series has finished filming. Thus, ultimately greenlighting Nick and Charlie's love story in the next chapter.

Taking to Instagram, Netflix shared a picture with the charming leads, Kit Connor and Joe Locke posing with the series creator, Alice Oseman.

In the picture, Joe Locke is looking dashing in a blue jacket while his on-screen lover Kit Connor in a brown jacket. 

Fans were ecstatic to hear the announcement and some even urged for season 4 shoot. Take a look here:

Based on the series of the same name by author Alice Oseman – Heartstopper narrates a love story between high-school boys as the duo grapples with fiery feelings after their unlikely friendship has a romantic twist. This coming-of-age series revolves around friendship, budding romance, and relationship conflicts.

When is season 3 releasing?

The upcoming season concluded its film shoot in December and considering the post-productions in the coming months, we can anticipate the series to unveil its charm somewhere around mid-2024. However, no official confirmation has been made.

About Heartstopper Season 2

The second installment witnessed the Truham Grammar High School students going on a Europe school trip when their relationships experienced intense breakdowns. The aftermath of the trip leads the couples to face their realities. The cliffhanger ending of season 2 with Nick saying I love you only to not hear from lover Charlie. The latter faces the moral dilemma and bitterness of the past with bullying and eating disorders on his way.

The cast also include Yasmin Finney as Elle, William Gao as Tao, Tobie Donovan as Isaac, Corinna Brown as Tara, Kizzy Edgell as Darcy, Sebastian Croft as Ben and others in pivotal roles.

The previous season smoothened the relationship timeline for Tao and Elle, until Elle decides her school.
