The team of 'Sugar Factory', led by director Deepak Aras, has successfully wrapped up the film's shooting. Reportedly, the last day of the shoot was carried out at a resort hotel in Nelamangala and the entire cast and crew present on sets, including the leads Darling Krishna, Sonal Monteiro, and others, marked the completion with customary rituals and wide smiles on their faces. Darling Krishna shared the update through an Instagram poster earlier today.
Sugar Factory marks the return of director Deepak Aras whose previous release came more than a decade ago in the form of 'Manasology'. His second venture has Darling Krishna playing the male lead with Sonal Monteiro, Advithi Shetty, and Shilpa Shetty playing the film's leading ladies. Shilpa, known for her roles in Tulu cinema and Kannada serials, will be making her Kannada debut with Sugar Factory.
Advithi Shetty, on the other hand, has a number of releases lined up ahead and is even making her Telugu debut alongside Sampoornesh Babu with a comedy vehicle. Sonal Monteiro will soon be seen in Yogaraj Bhat's 'Garadi' wherein she plays a rather flamboyant and chirpy role as a tik-tok obsessed girl. She will also be essaying the role of Sarojini Naidu in her Bollywood debut.
The shooting of Sugar Factory took place in Bengaluru, Goa, and Mysuru along with a brief stint in Kazakhstan. Kabir Rafi has composed the film's music with filmmakers Chethan Kumar and Yogaraj Bhat penning the lyrics along with Jayanth Kaikini. Santhosh Rai Pathaje has handled the cinematography. The first single from the film, titled Hangover, was released back in September of 2021.
