It is Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 vs Akshay Kumar’s OMG 2 once again after Box Office clash

Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 and Akshay Kumar’s OMG 2 are once again in competition. The two movies were competing at the Box Office a while ago. They are now back in competition and like their theatrical release, Gadar 2 leads the way. It so happens that Ormax Media has unveiled its list of top theatrical releases on OTT this week and Gadar 2 leads the way. The week followed is October 6-12. Here are the top films on OTT this week…

Gadar 2

Sunny Deol came back as Tara Singh with Ameesha Patel as Sakeena. Even after all these years, the iconic duo managed to win over the viewers. The original film and its sequel was based on their inter-caste love story.

OMG 2

Akshay Kumar-starring OMG 2 is next on the list. While the original film featured Paresh Rawal and was based off a play featuring the actor, the sequel featured Pankaj Tripathi as the second lead after Akshay. The film promoted adult education and it also performed well at the Box Office.

Jailer

Rajinikanth-starring film Jailer is still on the list, this time on the third rank. The movie is an action-comedy based on a retired police officer who plots revenge against the man who almost killed his family.

Last week i.e. for the week of September 27-October 5, Jailer was ranked second and Gadar 2 took the third spot. However, things changed drastically this time around. Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh-Alia Bhatt’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani is out of the list.
