Ishwak Singh joins Taapsee Pannu in Gandhari second schedule on the day of Paatal Lok 2 release - All you need to know

The second schedule of Gandhari has just commenced, various reports confirm. Taapsee Pannu confirmed the first schedule through her Instagram post but is yet to share an update on the second schedule. The pleasant surprise does not end there. Ishwak Singh of Rocket Boys 2 fame has joined the Netflix film and shoot. The actor is currently making headlines for his step-up role in Jaideep Ahlawat's Paatal Lok 2, which is out for streaming on Prime Video. Ishwak Singh joins Gandhari's second schedule

Ishwak has joined Taapsee for the second schedule of Gandhari, which is their first-ever collaboration together. They wrapped up the first schedule back in December 2024.

Ishwak Singh's Paatal Lok 2 out on OTT

Paatal Lok season 2, featuring Jaideep Ahlawat in the lead role, was released a while back today i.e. on January 17. Ishwak Singh plays the role of Ansari in the series, and the actor spoke about embracing the cold weather in Nagaland to bring determination to his character in the series. Ansari, introduced in Paatal Lok season 1, was a trainee under Hathi Ram (played by Jaideep). In season 2, he becomes an ACP without using violence (thus climbing the ladder the hard way).

About Gandhari and Ishwak Singh's role in the film

Haseen Dillruba’s hit duo Taapsee Pannu and Kanika Dhillon joined hands for Gandhari. The film is about a mother's search to save her abducted daughter. Naturally, the movie becomes awaited because of the intriguing storyline, and with Rocket Boys-Paatal Lok actor Ishwak joining the revenge action-thriller, Gandhari becomes one of the most-awaited on Netflix. His role in the film is still kept under wraps but makers promise something new from the actor. Guess we will have to wait and find out how this movie will unfold. There is no set release date for the project so far.
